Stitch Stole the Show, My Thoughts on Disney’s Lilo & Stitch Live-Action Remake👇

Disney's live-action Lilo & Stitch remake truly tugged at my heartstrings. It was everything you’d hope for, loving, sweet, and full of emotional depth. From the beautiful Hawaiian setting to the theme of ohana (family), it honored the original while bringing something fresh to the table.
But let’s be honest… the real star of the show? Stitch.
From the moment he showed up on screen, Stitch had me laughing non-stop. He’s adorable, chaotic, and 100% himself, especially when he's annoyed at being mistaken for a dog (which he clearly is not). That scene where he snaps, “I’m not a dog!” had me wheezing.
And let’s not ignore the interview moment (yes, Stitch gave an interview, in true Hollywood fashion). He said he dreams of driving and prefers to dress like himself, a Hollywood star. Honestly, I wouldn’t expect anything less from him. He owned it.
On the other side of the story, Maya as Lilo was such a joy to watch. She brought so much heart and innocence to the role. Her connection with Stitch felt so natural, and she carried the emotional weight beautifully.
Altogether, the film had just the right balance of laughter, warmth, and nostalgia. I’m giving it a solid 4.5 stars. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the story, it’s worth the watch, especially for Stitch’s antics.
Final Verdict: Stitch is still the cutest chaos machine in the galaxy. 💫
