Just watched the live-action How to Train Your Dragon, and while I have to admit, the CGI was impressive and Mason Thames did a solid job portraying Hiccup, I couldn't shake the feeling that this remake wasn't really necessary.
The original animated trilogy wrapped things up beautifully, showing Hiccup as a father and Toothless with his own dragon family. It felt complete. So while I’m giving the live-action film 4 stars for visuals and performance, I can’t go higher than that.
Now with talks of a sequel already in the works... let’s just say I’m not ready to dive into another 100-year saga of dragon training. Some stories are better left as classics. 🐉
