I will give my advice as a commentator on why fans are arguing back and forth on this film and why it flopped for Disney. Fans these days, the especially "so called, Disney fans" are getting tired of remakes of their classic Disney films by Disney.
Fans Are calling out on Threads, and X saying they are so tired of these constant remakes Disney are producing and really aren't interested in them. This explains partially why the film flopped by fans. I take a deeper dive in a second. In the meantime you can read the full synopsis of Snow White film here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_White_(2025_film)
For Snow White Fans, they are angry on so called Disney fans of trashing their new beloved film Snow White. Many on Threads are calling it a cherished, whimsical, and beloved film from Disney. So here's the fight, one side dislike the remake, while the other side loves it. But doing a survey on threads, more like 80% say they dislike it and some went to see the film to make sure they was right about their opinions.
Their opinion didn't change after seeing the film. They called out the casting decisions, storywriters, songwriters, hairstylist, and Zegler race for why she been cast as Snow White. In my words, I don't like the film because of any of those decisions. Part of the reason is the so called prince being a freedom fighter etc. It's still mind boggling to me, but mostly is the way Zegler spilled too much info about Snow White film before it been released.

I understand she was trying be silly and funny with those comments she said about Snow White, without trying to be negative, with many interpreting as negative. My best option was in this case, never told us about the film in the first place. We should of been left in the dark about this film until the release date.
So then people would went to see it, by spending their money for tickets, which would of been great business for Disney, and if people didn't like it, they would rant on social media on their way home. More actually, for wasting their money to go see it, lol. But in all regards, from examining the whole situation, it still would been the same reaction even if Zegler kept her mouth shut. Which I learned that from today.
In Case if Anyone Wondering, Would I Re-watch The Film on Disney +?
No.
What if Disney Paid You To Do So? Then that would be a different story.
I probably would be open to do so, giving a different perspective on things, if I was offered money to see it from my own perspective, lol.
Do You Like Disney Remakes or Against Them?
At first I may seem to be against each different live action version of a remake but I always tends to wait until they release the trailer and film completely before making a full decision on whether I like or dislike the film.
I may hesitate and call it bad at first but if it's ever been proven good like Lilo & Stitch trailer, then I'm all for the remakes.
One Last Question, Will You Be Seeing Lilo & Stitch Film When It Releases?
Yes, probably not in theaters, it might be on the Disney + app. I love Stitch and loved how Disney made the film according from the trailer, silly and appealing. I wish remakes was always like this.
